There are worlds where courage, honor and love are mightier than sorcery, treachery and corruption. They may fairly be said to be unlike our own, but stories about them have enduring appeal. Why is that so, do you think? I have my own opinion on the subject, as on most others, but I defer to the reader's opinion. Why, when we look carefully at the world we live in, do we dream of another country?

They are as different from one another as can be, but if you look carefully you will see something they have in common. They all use the ability of fantastic stories to reflect upon the real world. If this is not magic it is something close to it.
